Botox /ANTI WRINKLE Treatments
Botox Treatment is the most popular non-surgical aesthetic treatment. It is highly effective in erasing the facial wrinkles and lines without surgery and with no downtime to recovery. It also enhances skin texture over time to promote a fresher, healthier and more youthful look.
At ‘Excellence Medical’, the Botox treatment work is carried out by our medical director Mr Roy. We do not have nurse practitioners administering this treatment under supervision.

How do facial wrinkles develop:
Facial wrinkles develop due to constant over activity of facial muscles with associated repeated skin creasing over time. This is coupled with the slow down of collagen and elastin fibre production by the skin with the ageing process.
How does the Botox treatments work:
The Botox treatment relaxes overactive facial muscles, softening the skins crease lines that result from these hyperactive muscles. The Botox procedure uses very small quantities of purified protein toxin from Clostridium botulinum bacteria to inhibit the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junctions to put specifically targeted small facial muscles into temporary relaxation or in other words a temporary state of sleep.

Slim shoulders and neck, combined with clearly visible collar bones are widely regarded to be beautiful and desirable features in a woman. On the other hand, overdeveloped trapezius muscles are seen as an overtly masculine trait, and undesirable for women.
If you feel that your trapezius muscles are too big, you can enquire about our trapezius muscle slimming botulinum toxin (Botox) treatment.
How does trapezius slimming treatment work?
Botox is injected into the trapezius muscle to help relax them. The trapezius is a substantial muscle that borders the rear of the head, neck and shoulders. When these muscles are abnormally proportioned, they make the shoulders appear large and masculine. When Botox is injected into the area, the neck and shoulders undergo a process of remodelling and reduce in size, creating a more feminine sculptured appearance.
